We had amazing Tap Exam Results. All students acheived a pas with distinction, with 7 students acheiving 92 marks!

Our Events Team have performed at the Birmingham Hippodrome & The Belgrade Theatre. Their performances were excellent, well done!

Lauren McKenzie has been nominated by the IDTA to dance at the Highly Acclaimed International Dance Scholarships in Manchester in 2015. Brilliant!!

Congratulations to Sophie Gibb & Ellie Holland who have both successfully auditioned for " Young Cossette" in Les Miserables. Fabulous!

Leah Wallace has successfully auditioned for professional panto at The Belgrave Theatre, Coventry. This will be the second time that Leah has performed at this theatre in panto, brilliant!

Anni Edwards & Lauren McKenzie have successfully auditioned for professional panto at the Palace Theatre, Redditch. They will star alongside Eastenders Star, Todd Carty. Well done girls!

Congratulations to Jai Hickling. He has danced on the Robbie Williams Stadium Tour, has modelled for Dior & has just been contracted to dance on X Factor Winner, James Arthur new music video. Brilliant!

Congratulations to Joseph Maycock who has been offered an Apprenticeship with the Yorke Dance Project, he has also been invited to take professional company class with Rambert Contemporary Dance Company & Keneish Dance Company.

Nicole Pudge has completed her first year at Phil Winstons Theatreworks and starred in a show at the Grand Theatre, Blackpool. Nicole also passed her Pre Associate teaching exam with Distinction! Excellent.

Callie Charters graduated from BOA Performing Arts with Distinction. Well done!

Congratulations to Jessie Miah who has starred in the musical Grease at the New Rep Theatre, Birmingham & Carousel at the Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham. Well done!

Joseph Maycock graduated from Millennium Performing Arts winning a diploma in performance, he also won the Jazz Cup 2013 and his name joins many top West End Performers on the trophy.

Congratulations to Luci Sherlock who has won a full time place at the prestigious Theatre Arts School, Phil Winstons Theatreworks in Blackpool. Luci will commence her studies in September.

Congratulations to all students who took IDTA & NATD Exams. We acheived 100% pass rate with students acheiving as high as 93 marks! We all enjoyed a wonderful presentation evening, celebrating students acheivements, I hope you all enjoyed yourselves.

Our very own VTS Stars will be performing at the Birmingham Hippodrome on June 9th. Good luck to you all!

Following our successful performance at the Birmingham Hippodrome, VTS have been invited to perform at Cadbury`s World on 20th May. Congratulations to my talented students.

Ex Valentino, Joseph Maycock thrilled audiences on the main stage at MOVE IT. He performed a comedy dance duet to an audience of 5000! Joseph shared the bill with Adam Garcia, Kimberley Wyatt & Bodicea (Got to Dance Finalists). Still doing Valentine's proud Joe, well done!

2011

Congratulations to Martine Tysall who was awarded Runner Up at the Senior West Midlands Modern Championships at the weekend. Brilliant!!

Lauren McKenzie has been personally invited to perform for Keneish Contemporary Dance Company at the Clothes Show in December. This is a huge honour for Lauren and a step closer to her dream of being part of this Company when she finishes her studies. Considering Lauren is only twelve years old, this is a fantastic acheivement and experience for her. Well done & good luck!

Our recent show 'Dream a Dream' was a huge success, not only was it considered by many, the best show ever, it was a complete sell out! All the children shone with confidence and made us all very proud. We also raised a fantastic amount of money for The Ward 19 Charity Fund, the total of which will be advertised very soon!

It has been lovely catching up with ex pupil Zoe Levere. Since moving to Hastings Zoe has continued to dance and has been involved in some exciting projects. She made it to the final 28 in So You Think You Can Dance for ITV, has starred in video`s with Wiley and Pixie Lott and featured in the movies Inbetweeners and Street Dance 2. What an acheivement, well done Zoe!

Good Luck to Callie Charters and Luci Sherlock who both start performing arts college this week. Callie is attending BOA in Birmingham and Luci is attending Millennium Performing Arts in London.

Congratulations to Sophie Mallen, Leah Wallace & Nicole Pudge who have all successfully auditioned for professional pantomime this Christmas. Sophie will appear at the Palace Theatre, Redditch, Leah at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry and Nicole at The Leamington Spa Centre, Royal Leamington Spa. Well done girls, enjoy yourselves!

Congratulations to Joe Maycock who performed his first theatre production with Millennium Performing Arts at the Cochrane Theatre, London. His performance was outstanding. He has also been chosen to participate in a dance class with Diversity, enjoy! Joe was also lucky enough to spend the morning with Liza Minelli in May, although he only looked after her but this alone was a great honour!

Congratulations to Callie Charters for winning a place at Birminghams new performing arts college BOA. You will be missed at VTS!

Ex student Joseph Maycock has been invited to teach a Jazz class at Elmhurst School for Dance on 17th February, he will be putting students through their paces. Joseph will be running Jazz workshops at VTS later in the year, watch this space!

Congratulations to Connor Doyle, who has recently played the role of Daniel, in a BBC4 Radio Play which is being aired on 17th February at approx 2.15 pm. I will be listening!

We would like to wish Louie Mcnally the best of luck for his forth coming audition for Britains Got Talent. Louie will be singing the Ce Lo Green song " Forget you".

I am very happy to announce that we now have a theatrical childrens agency connected to the school. All students will be given a chance to audition for the agency at some point. Good luck to all students who are auditioning on Saturday 18th September!

Congratulations to Nicole Pudge who has been nominated for an International Ballet Scholarship by the IDTA. Nicole will dance with the top ballet dancers in the country in Manchester. Good luck & well done!

Congratulations to Joe Maycock who has won places at Millenium Performing Arts, Northern Ballet School & Legat. Joe won scholarships for 2 of the above schools, a fantastic acheivement. Joe will commence his training at Millenium in September.

Congratulations to Nicole Pudge who has been cast in a Principal role in the English Youth Ballet's production of "Sleeping Beauty". Well done & good luck!

Congratulations to George Maycock who has won places at Tring & The Hammond School and also a scholarhip for the Sylvia Young Summer School. George will commence at Hammond in September. Good luck! George also appeared on GMTV this week aswell as featuring in "Hello" and "OK" magazines, he has had an amazing time in Billy Elliot and has been lucky to perform for many celebrities including Elton John, David Furnish, Stephen Daldry, David Walliams, Tim Healy, Denise Welch, Sir Paul McCartney, Ewan McGregor and Howard Donald.

Congratulation to Nicole Pudge who has successfully auditioned for the English Youth Ballet. Nicole will be dancing in the Sleeping Beauty at the Spa Centre, Leamington Spa.

George Maycock will be hanging up his tap shoes, dresses and tutu and saying goodbye to Billy Elliot at the end of March. I would like to congratulate him on his acheivements and hard work whilst in this musical and to wish him luck for his forth coming auditions for stage schools. You have done us proud!

I would like to wish Martine Tysall good luck for the International Dance Awards on Saturday 13th February. Martine will be competing against the top ballet juniors in the country to win a scholarship.

Congratulations to Joe Maycock who will be dancing in the Opening Ceremony of the European Gymnastic Championships at the NIA. I would also like to wish him luck for his forth coming auditions for The Royal Ballet School, English National Ballet School, Central School of Ballet and Millenium.

Daisy Ballard, Crystal Prior, Chloe & Nicole Pudge, Luci Sherlock & Ella Spittle McGuire have been invited to perform at Aston Villa Football Club on Thursday 14th May. The girls will perform a Hip Hop number & a lyrical duet in aid of the Acorns Charity Trust. I am sure they will be a huge success, well done girls!
