The Valentine Theatre School is a part time Stage School based in Chelmsley Wood, North Solihull. It is a small select school that gives individual attention to all students. Valentine is the only school in the region that has provided pupils to the top West End Musicals as well as the BBC, ITV, Sky, Films & Classical Ballets with the Birmingham Royal Ballet.

It offers professional tuition in Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Body Conditioning, Acrobatics, Street Dance, Drama, Salsa, Artistic Gymnastics, Michael Jackson Dancing & Singing.

It was established by Claire Chandler in 1995, who wanted to share her professional experience & knowledge to children who were striving to make a career in the arts.

Since opening, the School has grown rapidly & boasts a reputation for professionalism & excellence. Many students have appeared in professional musicals, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins, Billy Elliot & Oliver to name just a few, Ballets, Films & Concerts. Students have also been accepted into the UK's top Ballet & Stage Schools.

Pupils have won the following accolades: National Junior Tap Champion 2007, West Midlands Junior Modern Championship Bronze Medallist 2007, West Midlands Senior Modern Champion & West Midlands Junior Modern Champion.

The school enters pupils into examinations with the Natd (National Association of Teachers of Dancing) & the Idta (International Dance Teachers Association). The school has 100% pass rate at A - C level.

The school offers extra ballet lessons with top Idta Examiner Brenda Yeates.

The school offers private lessons to exceptionally gifted students. These students are entered into local & national competitions.

The school has won many awards; Best School, Teachers Award, Most Promising Dancer, Best Personality, Boys Award, Best Costume, to name but a few.

All students have the opportunity to appear in troupes for competitions and shows.

The school produces a show every year in a local theatre
